NO IMMUNITY CHALLENGE
OR TRIBAL COUNCIL
As the tribes convened for an Immunity Challenge, Jenna Morasca
shocked the other castaways by pulling herself out of the game. In

bad judgment by becoming an All-Star, and that she was needed at
home.
Jeff Probst then announced that both the Immunity Challenge and
Tribal Council would be cancelled because Jenna Morasca would be
leaving the game.

CHALLENGE: FLOATING PUZZLE
For this competition, the tribes would start from floating
platforms. One at a time, the castaways would swim to retrieve
various floating puzzle pieces. Once all the puzzle pieces were
gathered, they would then need to assemble them to form a giant
boat, which they would paddle to shore. Once there, one tribe

back to the starting platform. The first tribe back would win a
major reward: a day off the island. This incredible reward
would include a barbeque feast, beer and dessert. In a surprise
twist, the winning tribe would also get to pick a member from the
losing tribe to join them. The chosen member would not have to
join their tribe at Tribal Council, where the losers would be
forced to send someone home. Thus, this all-important Challenge

AMBASSADORS AT
LARGE
On the morning of day twenty, the tribes awoke to Tree Mail
instructing them to choose one ambassador to go to the other
tribe's camp. At Chapera, nobody volunteered, so they had to draw
straws to decide. Jenna
Lewis, the 26-year-old castaway of SURVIVOR: PULAU TIGA BORNEO
from Franklin, New Hampshire drew the shortest straw and was on
her way. At Mogo Mogo, the decision was easier as the tribe
selected Kathy, who had already built a rapport with Chapera the
day before.
As the Ambassadors arrived at the opposing camps, they learned
they were to choose three items that would serve as rewards in the
upcoming Challenge. "Our camp is amazing, especially our
shelter. We have a tarp, we have a parachute, plus we have
blankets, we have pillows," worried Chapera's Alicia
Calaway, the 35-year-old castaway of SURVIVOR: THE AUSTRALIAN
OUTBACK from Trumbull, Connecticut.
REWARD CHALLENGE:
LOG JAM
This competition would be a log roll. One at a time, members from
each tribe would square off, man vs. man and woman vs. woman. The

would be allotted would be determined by the blowgun and spear
rounds. When all the arrows are gone, the player to hit closest to
center wins immunity for the tribe.

After receiving Tree Mails with paint in the

NO CHALLENGE:
TRIBAL SHUFFLING
As the tribes assembled for the Challenge, they were surprised to
find out there would be no competition. Instead, host Jeff Probst
explained that members from Mogo Mogo and Chapera would pair off
and enjoy a chat over a picnic lunch.
Tribe members bonded over
fruit and cheese, they reassembled for what they thought was to be
a merge. But they were shocked to find out that they were to take
part in a random tribal shuffling by blindly picking buffs out of
a vase. In a result that seems to defy all odds, all the members

REWARD CHALLENGE: FACE OFF
As the tribe convened for a Reward Challenge,
they were surprised to see a display of masks made from their
likenesses. The castaways would have to face off in
a SURVIVOR Q&A. First, the Survivors would fill out a
questionnaire that asked personal information and private opinions
of other Survivors. Next, they would vote on what they thought was
the most common answer given by the tribe as a whole. Each
Survivor who answered a question correctly would get to cut a
section of rope connected to the swinging log of the tribemate he
or she wanted eliminated from the game. Three cuts of a rope would
send the log smashing into the mask. The tribemate with a mask
still intact at the end would win the Reward.
The Reward would take the tribe to a restaurant, where the winner
would get to choose what each tribe member would eat for dinner
that night. The meals would range from a juicy steak to a cold
plate of rice. Nobody would be allowed to share food.
Winner: Rupert (After choosing the
steak for himself, Rupert allowed Rob to settle on the
cheeseburger; Jenna, the hot dog; Amber, the sandwich; Alicia, the
salad; Big Tom, the potatoes; and Shii Ann was left with the rice.)
IMMUNITY CHALLENGE:

Each castaway would stand on a post directly under a large bucket
filled with water. The bucket would be connected to the Survivor's

REWARD CHALLENGE:
LOVED ONES AUCTION
Each tribemate
received money to bid on upcoming items. The first item, beef
jerky, was a steal for Kansas girl Danni. Then Cindy outbid the
others for a plate of chocolate chip cookies and a glass of milk.
Other items included a Philly cheese steak sandwich and a mosquito
net. The most important non-food item was a sealed envelope
containing an advantage for the next Immunity Challenge. With her
neck on the line, Danni eagerly outbid everyone else, hoping the
sealed advantage would secure her a victory in the upcoming
Immunity Challenge.
What's the next item up for bid? In a surprise move, Jeff Probst
revealed the hidden SURVIVOR loved ones from behind the Maya
ruins. The group included Judd's wife, Lydia's
brother, Stephenie's boyfriend, Cindy's twin sister, Danni's
brother and Rafe's mother. Greeted by screams and tears of joy,
the loved ones were to be auctioned off to the highest bidder. A
flurry of bidding followed, and the escalating price soon required
the tribemates to pool their money. In the end, with the help of
Cindy's money, Judd outbid Stephenie and won an overnight reward
with his wife, Kristen. As Judd reveled in the excitement of the
moment, Jeff presented a twist: Judd could choose two other
Survivors' loved ones to join them. The three Survivors without a
loved one would be exiled to the old Yaxha camp for the night with
out even as much as a hug from their loved one. Without
hesitation, Judd choose Cindy and Stephenie. Cindy's twin sister,

REWARD CHALLENGE: GET HOOKED
Before the Reward Challenge, host Jeff Probst leads the Gitanos to
a hut, where they watch a brief clip from videotapes made by loved
ones at home. While everyone is touched by the experience, no one
is as emotional as Shane. After seeing the clip of his son,
Boston, Shane fights through tears to explain the bond he has with

best friend, he is my son, he is my life."
After the Survivors view their clips, Jeff Probst explains that

around each other along a main thoroughfare that leads to six
stations: poles, hermit crabs, rocks, iguanas, shells and fish.
Each time they get to a station they must count the number of
items, race back to the start, and find the answer tile with the
same number on it. Once they've been to all six stations, they
will have six numbers. They will then place those six numbers into
an answer grid. Using the combination, the two numbers in each
column will open the locks. If the lock doesn't open, it means
they've counted wrong and they can go back and correct their
mistakes. Once they've opened all three locks, their tribe flag

Switch
The tribes reconvene at the challenge field where Jeff Probst
asks for a member from each tribe to step forward. An
apprehensive Edgardo steps up from Moto, while Ravu elects Earl
as their tribe representative. Jeff simply states:
"Everybody drop your buffs. We are choosing new
tribes." Uneasy smiles and groans accompany the tension as
green and orange buffs are tossed to the ground before the
Survivors. Jeff explains the structure of the switch. Beginning
the tribe selection will be Earl and Edgardo; the rest of the
Survivors will alternate. When selecting a tribemate, Survivors
will choose a member from the opposing tribe. Due to an odd
number of Survivors one person will not be on either tribe.
Edgardo starts the selection, choosing Mookie from the old Ravu.
Earl then selects Boo from the old Moto tribe and so on and so
forth. An imbalance in the tribes is evident as Survivors join
their new tribal ranks. The new Moto tribe now consists of Earl,
Boo, Michelle, Cassandra, Yau-Man and Stacy. The new formidable
